DeKalb Entertainment Commission names new director

ATLANTA BUSINESS CHRONICLE — The DeKalb Entertainment Commission has picked a new director, who will be responsible for coordination of all TV and film projects produced in unincorporated DeKalb County, among other duties. The Commission said Shelbia Jackson will also be charged with facilitation of film permits from its 13 cities and unique communities, plus overseeing development and sponsorship of programs, events and partnerships that support DeKalb’s creative community in the areas of film, television, music and digital entertainment.
